Wiskid set to move to Sony record

The music rivalry between singers Davido and Wizkid just got a bit hotter as news reaching us is that Wizkid has been signed under international record label, Sony.

If we can remember Davido signed a deal with the label some couple of months back and now his arch music rival, Wizkid is joining him there.
The two are undoubtedly two of Nigeria’s biggest music acts and have carved a niche for themselves in the African music industry as forces to be reckoned with.
If these new story is true, we wonder how Davido would feel about being in the same label with Wizkid as it only means that their rivalry will be intensified musically. When it comes to awards as well, the two have won almost the same number of awards in similar categories.
It would be recalled that we recently announced that Davido is set to release an EP titled “Son Of Mercy” sometime in November under Sony and this will be his first work under the new management.
